Playdate Project
Little Things. Big Personality.
A little more play. A little more good.
It started with three little humans.
The endless questions. The made-up games. The favourite snacks. The pockets full of treasures that absolutely cannot be left behind. The bedtime stories that need just one more chapter.
As a mom of three, I've learned that it doesn't take much to make an ordinary day extraordinary. A cardboard box becomes a spaceship. A walk around the block becomes an expedition. A favourite T-shirt becomes the one they insist on wearing every day.
Growing up between the culture I inherited and the one I live in has shaped my perspective, too.
Raised on two cultures and very specific snacks. Somewhere between dim sum and drive-thru. Tradition, with a few detours.
That mix of cultures, childhood memories, and everyday experiences inspires the little details behind Playdate Project.
I wanted to create clothes that felt just as fun, curious, and full of personality as the kids wearing them. And if we could do a little good along the way? Even better.
So, Playdate Project began.
A little rainbow with a big meaning.
I've also experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage, a part of my story that has stayed with me and deepened my appreciation for life's little moments.
Our smiling rainbow logo is a quiet nod to that journey. A symbol of hope, love, and the joy that can exist alongside life's harder moments.
A reminder that the little things aren't always so little.
Little things. Big personality.
We create playful graphic tees inspired by the things kids love — cheeky little characters, nostalgic favourites, funny food illustrations, bold colours, and a little unexpected humour.
Some designs are loud and silly. Others are sweet and simple. All are made to celebrate the joy of being little.
Our clothing is gender-neutral, inclusive, comfortable, and made for real life. Pieces that let kids move, play, and express themselves.
Because kids should dress like kids — curious, carefree, and completely themselves.
A little more good.
We believe every child deserves to feel safe, cared for, and free to imagine a bright future.
That's why we dedicate 10% of our profits to supporting vulnerable children, contributing to children's education, health, and well-being through organizations including Variety – the Children's Charity, Ratanak International, and World Vision.
A T-shirt won't change the world on its own. But small acts of kindness can add up to something bigger.
Made with a little more thought.
Playdate Project is a small, family-run Canadian business based in Vancouver, BC. Our pieces are made to order to help reduce unnecessary inventory, with orders fulfilled by our print partners in Canada and the US.
Behind every order is a real person who cares. Whether you need help or just want to share your little one's favourite design, we'd love to hear from you.
Here's to the little things.
The muddy knees. The mismatched socks. The silly jokes. The favourite shirt worn on repeat.
Childhood moves quickly. Playdate Project is our little way of celebrating it, one playful design at a time.
Because the little things become the big memories.
Thank you for supporting our small business and helping us spread a little more good.
I'm so glad you're here.
With love,
Lisa, Founder of Playdate Project
